**Yvonne Sexson's graveside has been moved to Bullock-Long Funeral Home**
YVONNE SEXSON, 94 of Grant, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Perkins County Community Hospital in Grant.
Yvonne was born November 19, 1926 in Omaha, NE to Alva Juhl and Genie Fae (Aughe) Juhl, the oldest of two children. As a young girl, Yvonne went to live with her grandparents in northwest Kansas. She graduated from St. Francis High School with the class of 1943, and she earned her teaching certificate at Ft. Hays State College, and at age 16 was teaching school in western Kansas.
On July 23, 1943, Yvonne married Clifford L. Sexson at New York City, NY, as Clifford was serving in the US Navy. Following his discharge in 1945, the couple made their home in St. Francis, Kansas, where they farmed. Yvonne and Clifford would be blessed with three children, Sherryl, David, and Milton. The couple resided in Boulder, Longmont, and South Dakota throughout the next twenty years, eventually moving to Broken Bow, Nebraska, where they operated an RV park for eighteen years. In 1998, the couple moved to Grant, where they were closer to family, and made many wonderful friends.
Yvonne was an avid quilter and reader. She was active in her church, particularly in the women's groups, and she enjoyed spending time volunteering. Yvonne's joy came from faith and family.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford, and her baby brother William.
She is survived by her children, Sherryl (Kenneth) Ketter of Kanorado, KS, David (Melanie) Sexson of Gordon, and Milton (Laura) Sexson of Ogallala; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be Friday, April 9, 2021, at 10:00am at Fairview Cemetery in Grant, NE with John Long officiating.
