Roger Lynn Brodbeck

Roger Lynn Brodbeck was born July 1,1939, in rural Elsie. He passed away October 5,2024 at Great Plains Health in North Platte. Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will be held at Grant-Fairview Cemetery on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Curt Magelky officiating. Roger owned and operated Brodbeck Sand & Gravel Business for many years. After he retired, he enjoyed all Husker sports, The Dodgers and motorcycles. He had a deep love for his grandchildren and was keen to be a part of their activities. Roger thoroughly enjoyed bowling and spent many nights with friends and family at the bowling alley.

Roger is survived by his brother Ronnie Brodbeck of Phoenix, AZ; sons Rick (Marilyn) of Ainsworth, NE and Monte (Cindy) Brodbeck; daughter Shelly Linch of Ogallala, NE; grandchildren Heather (Cody) Stec, Cory (Mckenzie) and Troy Brodbeck, all of Ainsworth, NE; Jane (Luke) Rihanek of Lincoln, NE, Christopher Linch of Ogallala, NE, and Megan Linch (Jeff) of Colorado Springs, CO, Justin and Erin (Mark) Most of North Carolina; great Grandchildren Grant Stec and Sutton Brodbeck of Ainsworth, NE, as well as Mason and Hunter Rihanek of Lincoln, NE and many nieces and nephews.
