JOHN "SARGE" WILLIS, 71, of Grant, NE, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Imperial Manor Nursing Home in Imperial, NE.
John was born November 7, 1950, at Carlsbad, NM, to James and Norma Dean (Eggleston) Willis.
John honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving several commendations and was awarded the Purple Heart.
John is survived by his wife, Elaine of Grant.

Private services will be held for John at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, NE, where he will be buried.
