Jeremy was born on July 18, 1974, in Ogallala, NE, the youngest child of David and Kathleen Deaver. He passed away July 2, 2021, in Grant, Nebraska.
Jeremy grew up on the farm west of Madrid and enjoyed working beside his father, learning the art of raising animals and crops. He attended Perkins County High School in Grant and graduated with the class of 1993.
Jeremy married his high school sweetheart, Angel Vancura, on August 13, 1992. In April of 1998, Jeremy moved to Ogallala to work for Yant Equipment and Sapp Brothers Petroleum. It was in Ogallala where Jeremy met Johanna "Jodi" Brandt, and the two were later married on October 24, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jeremy received his Associate's Degree in Diesel Mechanics from Mid Plains Community College. He was working at Quality Diesel at the time of his death.
Jeremy worked very hard in his life to provide for his family. He loved Jesus and found comfort in reading his Bible and attending church at Grace Point in Ogallala.
Jeremy was famous for making his family, friends, and coworkers laugh with his silly jokes and playful pranks. He ever-so-patiently taught each one of his daughters how to tie their shoes and drive a car. Jeremy was an excellent baker and always made special cakes for birthdays. He enjoyed building things, gardening, canning, and listening to KJLT radio.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Susie Deaver, Ted and Nellie Spear and Irene York; and cousins, Ted Deaver and Lloyd Deaver; father-in-law, John Brandt.
