JACKIE MICKELS, 82, formerly of Madrid, NE, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Comfort Care Home in Newton, KS.
Jackie was born at home April 17, 1933 near Dalhart, Texas. On March 25, 1951 she married Donald Mickels.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and her daughter, Bonnie.
Survivors include daughters Kim (Dave) Kroeker of Hillsboro KS, Penni (Steve) Schroeder of Hillsboro KS and Leslie (Tim) Brown of Kearney NE, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Delores Harms of Grant and Connie Knoll of Omaha.
Memorials may be made to Gideon's International or Parkview MB Church Deacon Fund. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com.
An informal time of fellowship will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 7-9 PM at the Madrid United Methodist Church. The graveside service will be held at the Madrid Cemetery at Madrid, NE on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10 AM.
Bullock-Long Funeral Home of Grant is in charge of arrangements.
