Florence Ensz

FLORENCE ENSZ, 92 of Grant, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Golden Ours Convalescent Home in Grant.

Florence was born January 11, 1929, in Greenland, Manitoba, to John and Helen Penner.

In 1951, Florence married Arvid Ensz. Their union was blessed with one son, Gordon. The couple farmed near the Blaze Fork Creek in Kansas for over twenty years before relocating to Madrid in 1977, where they continued to farm.

Preceding Florence in death were her parents, husband, Arvid, and all of her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Gordon, and Janette, of Madrid, NE; six grandchildren, Kim and Martin Doolittle of Madrid, NE; Darin and Anna Ensz of Grant, NE; Don and Melissa Ensz of Vale, OR; Ryan and Elizabeth Ensz of Madrid, NE; Brad and Tammy Ensz of Madrid, NE; Joni and Lane Friesen of Grant, NE; twenty-four great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Florence's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhome.com.

Services will be on Friday, March 5, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Golden Plains Mennonite Church west of Madrid. Burial will be in the Madrid Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Bullock-Long Funeral Home in Grant.
