Edwin Lynn Lowe

EDWIN L. LOWE, 72, of Grant, Nebraska, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020, at the Perkins County Hospital in Grant.

Ed was born June 25, 1948, at Benkelman, Nebraska, to Chester " Bud" and Lucille (Farrell) Lowe. He Graduated from Benkelman High School, Benkelman, Nebraska in 1968.

August 31, 1968, Ed Married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Wright. To this union, four sons were born. Carey, Korey, Jason, and Justin.

Ed graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He taught at the Republican City High School, Republican City, where he also coached Football and Basketball. Ed served his country in The United States Army. After being Honorably discharged from the United States Army, Ed worked for COOP in Bird City, KS, Benkelman, and Grant, Ne. Ed retired with over 35 years of COOP Service. Sharon passed away in 1992, and Ed raised his four boys through their school years. Ed married Cindy Gartner, and the two later divorced.

Ed enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon, son, Korey, sister Gleannys Geishler.

Survivors include his sons, Carey, Jason, and Justin. His brothers
Hugh Wayne (Pete) Lowe of North Platte, Harold Lowe of Manhattan, KS. Six grandchildren, three nephews, and two nieces, along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Ed's memory for later designation, care of Bullock-Long Funeral Home, Grant Nebr. Services for Ed will be announced at a later date.
