ARTHUR E. FORNEY, age 89 of Madrid, passed away February 11, 2016 at the Golden Ours Convalescent Home in Grant.
Art was born January 5, 1927 at Moorcroft, Wyoming to David and Helen (White) Forney. He attended school in Moorcroft.
On March 17, 1947, Art married Frances Peek at Broadus, Montana. Five sons were born to this union. The family lived in several places, but spent the majority of their time in Rawlins, Wyo. where Art worked for the city and Frances worked as a waitress and a cook. They moved to Madrid, Neb. in 1983 after their retirement.

Art was preceded in death by his wife Frances in 2010; grandson, Lloyd; and his 7 siblings.
Survivors include his 5 sons, Douglas and wife Susan of Rupert, Idaho, Edward and James, both of Madrid, Charles of Rawlins and Roger and wife Terry of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends.
Art's cremains will be scattered in Wyoming by his family at a later date. Art's presence will be missed by family and friends. As Art would often say, "This old cowboy is calling it a day."
